The mountain noctule, or Chinese noctule, is a medium-sized bat from the smooth-nosed family. It lives in East Asia, is active only at night, and hunts flying insects using echolocation.
The mountain noctule differs from other noctules by its darker fur and preference for mountain forests. It brings great benefit to nature by destroying harmful insects and helping to maintain balance in forest ecosystems.
