kuhli loach
Pangio kuhlii
The Kuhli loach is a small freshwater fish with a long thin body. It lives at the bottom of rivers and streams in Southeast Asia and is often used in aquariums as a peaceful bottom fish.
The Kuhli loach differs from other loaches with its very thin body, striped coloration, and spines under the eyes. It cleans the bottom of water bodies from food remnants and helps maintain order in nature.
