common rocket frog
Colostethus inguinalis
The common rocket frog is a small frog about 3 centimeters long. It lives in the tropical forests of Panama and Colombia and can make very long jumps.
The common rocket frog differs from poisonous poison dart frogs by its weak poison and terrestrial egg laying with tadpole transport by the father. It helps control insect populations and serves as food for snakes and birds.
