Viennese Reserlscheck — medium-sized decorative breed of domestic pigeons. Weight 280–380 g (ideal 320–350 g), body length 280–340 mm. Build compact, strong, squat, wide and short, with horizontal body posture (10–20°). Head small, rounded, wide in the frontal part (length 45–52 mm), forehead profile steep. Eyes large, iris dark orange to dark red. Beak of medium length (18–22 mm), strong. Neck short, powerful (65–75 mm). Body wide, deep, cylindrical, chest wide, back short. Wings 190–215 mm, tightly pressed. Tail short, width 70–85 mm, 12 tail feathers, horizontal. Legs short, clean-legged, metatarsus 28–34 mm. Main feature — white body with colored head, neck, chest and shoulders (epaulets), presence of symmetrical rosettes (vortices) on shoulders with a diameter of 35–55 mm. Acceptable colors of colored parts: black with green sheen, red, yellow, blue with stripes, silver, dun. All other plumage pure white. Differs from the basic type by compact body, structural rosettes and contrasting two-color pattern.
