The Nepalese martin is a small bird from the swallow family. It lives high in the Himalayas, builds nests from mud on cliffs, and catches insects in the air.
The Nepalese martin differs from related species by nesting at very high altitudes in the mountains and having a completely white rump. It is beneficial to nature because it destroys a large number of flying insects.
