Triakis semifasciata
The California three-toothed shark is a marine predator up to one and a half meters long. It has a light body with distinct black spots and stripes, due to which it got the name leopard shark.
It differs from other sharks by a characteristic pattern of spots and stripes, as well as the absence of spines on the fins. It helps maintain balance in coastal ecosystems by eating bottom-dwelling animals.
