Pangasianodon larno, or black-spotted pangasius, is a large freshwater fish with dark spots on its body. It lives in rivers of Southeast Asia and reaches a length of more than one meter.
The black-spotted pangasius differs from related species by the abundance of black spots and large body size. It is important for river ecosystems as a predator that regulates the population of small animals.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
