The Cape Lark is a small bird of the lark family, about 13 centimeters long. It lives only in high-mountain grassy areas of South Africa.
The Cape Lark differs from related species by its short tail and particular preference for high-mountain meadows. It helps maintain balance in nature by eating insects and plant seeds.
