cliff swallow
Petrochelidon pyrrhonota
The white-fronted swallow is a small migratory bird about 13–15 centimeters in length. It builds colonies of mud nests on rocks and bridges and catches insects directly in the air.
The white-fronted swallow differs from other swallows by its white forehead and closed mud nests on vertical walls. It is important for nature because it destroys a large number of harmful insects.
