The shepherd treefrog is a small arboreal frog with bright green color. It lives on trees and bushes near water bodies in the southeast of North America and makes loud sounds at night.
The rail tree frog differs from related species with a white stripe on its side and loud croaking similar to barking. It is beneficial for nature because it eats many harmful insects.
Quickly shoots out a long sticky tongue and captures prey.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
