Нюрнбергская ласточка (Nürnberger Schwalbe)
Calm, friendly, active, flies well. Strong homing instinct. Less aggressive than many other decorative pigeon breeds. Loves company, gets along well in a flock.
Small ornamental breed of domestic pigeons with a characteristic "swallow-like" silhouette. Weight 240–310 g (ideally 260–280 g), overall body length 280–340 mm. Compact, light, elegant bird. Head small, rounded (38–42 mm), high forehead, rounded occiput. Eyes large with dark brown or almost black iris. Beak thin, straight (18–22 mm). Neck thin, gracefully arched (65–75 mm). Body compact, slightly elongated, straight back, rounded chest, tucked abdomen. Wings long with strongly elongated and narrowed 9–10 flight feathers ("spurs") 70–110 mm, extending beyond the tail. Tail relatively short (80–95 mm), tightly closed. Legs short (tarsus 28–34 mm), clean-legged. Plumage dense, smooth, glossy. Main pattern — "swallow pattern": colored body (head, neck, chest, abdomen, sides, lower back) and pure white wings and tail with a clear boundary. Allowed colors: black with green sheen, red, yellow, blue, silver, white.
