Anodonthyla theoi is a very small frog from the Microhylidae family. It lives only in the montane tropical forests in southeastern Madagascar and uses adhesive pads on its limbs to climb plants.
Anodonthyla theoi differs from closely related species by its very small body size and direct development without an aquatic larval stage. It is important for the forests of Madagascar because it eats insects and serves as food for larger animals.
Catches prey with a quick movement of the sticky tongue.
