greylag goose
Anser indicus
The mountain goose is a large migratory bird from the duck family. It lives in Central Asia and is capable of flying over the highest mountains on Earth even where there is little oxygen.
The mountain goose differs from other geese by its ability to fly at enormous altitudes where the air is very thin. It is important for nature because it carries plant seeds and serves as food for highland predators.
