Corydoras hastatus
The pygmy catfish is one of the smallest fish in the armored catfish family. The length of an adult does not exceed 3.5 centimeters. The fish lives at the bottom of freshwater bodies in South America and is often kept in aquariums.
The pygmy catfish differs from related species by its very small size and a noticeable black spot at the tail. It cleans the bottom of water bodies from food residues and serves as food for larger fish.
