The Amazon dolphin, or inia, is a freshwater dolphin with a long beak and often pink skin. It lives only in the rivers of South America and uses echolocation for hunting in murky water.
The Amazon dolphin differs from marine dolphins by its flexible neck and the pink skin color of adult males. It is important for nature because it helps maintain the fish balance in the Amazon rivers.
