monjon
Petrogale burbidgei
The monjon, or rock wallaby, is the smallest rock wallaby. This marsupial mammal lives among rocks in northern Australia and weighs less than one and a half kilograms.
The monjon differs from other rock wallabies by its very small size and short ears. It helps preserve plants in rocky areas and serves as food for local predators.
