Sebastes polyspinis is a marine fish from the scorpionfish family. It lives in the cold waters of the northern Pacific Ocean near the bottom and can reach a length of more than 40 centimeters.
Sebastes polyspinis differs from related species by having a very large number of spines on its head and body. It serves as an important part of the food chain in northern seas and is an object of regulated fishing.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
