The Nigerian toad, or Perret's toad, is a rare species of toad that lives only in the mountainous regions of southeastern Nigeria. It has brown warty skin and is endangered due to habitat changes.
The Nigerian toad differs from other toads by its limited distribution only in the mountains of Nigeria and special skin structure. It is important for nature because it eats many insects and serves as food for snakes and birds.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
