The Carmine-throated Nectarini is a small, brightly colored bird from the sunbird family. Males have a shiny copper-red throat, while females are colored more modestly. It lives in coastal forests of Southeast Asia.
The crimson-throated nectarini differs from other nectarinias in the bright copper throat of males. It is important for nature because it pollinates many tropical flowers.
Extracts nectar with a long beak, catches insects in the air or collects them from leaves.
