Ningus, or Labeo victorianus, is a freshwater fish from the carp family. It lives in Lake Victoria and the rivers of its basin in East Africa.
Ningu differs from close species by thick lips and feeding on hard surfaces. It is important for nature as a consumer of algae and part of the Lake Victoria food chain.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
