sad flycatcher
Myiarchus barbirostris
Jamaican yellow-bellied tyrant, or sad flycatcher, is a small bird about 17 centimeters long. It lives only on the island of Jamaica and catches insects in the air.
The sad flycatcher differs from related tyrant flycatchers by its peculiar sad whistle and yellow belly. It is beneficial for nature because it destroys many insects in the forests of Jamaica and helps maintain balance.
