Aluterus heudelotii
Aluterus heudeloti, or the spotted aluterus, is a marine fish with a strongly elongated body and a sharp spine instead of the first dorsal fin. It lives in the warm waters of the Atlantic, camouflages well and feeds on algae and small animals.
The spotted filefish differs from related species by its very long body and coloration with small spots. It is important for nature because it eats algae and helps keep reefs clean.
