Montivipera bulgardaghica is a venomous mountain viper that lives only in the high mountains of Turkey. It hides among the rocks at altitudes from 1800 to 3000 meters.
This viper differs from related species by its limited range only in one mountain region of Turkey and a special pattern on its body. It is important for nature because it regulates the population of rodents and lizards in high-mountain ecosystems.
Legendary longevity: over 100 years. Galapagos tortoises, Greenland sharks, ocean quahogs celebrate with family once every 4 years
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
