The Peppermint Angelfish is a small marine fish of bright red color with white vertical stripes. It lives on deep coral reefs in the central part of the Pacific Ocean and belongs to the pygmy angelfishes.
The peppermint angelfish differs from other dwarf angelfish by its very bright red-white coloration and love for great depths. It helps maintain reef health by eating algae that can overgrow corals.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
