The coco sea catfish is a marine fish with long rays on the dorsal and pectoral fins. It lives in coastal waters and estuaries of the Atlantic Ocean.
The coco sea catfish differs from other catfishes with very long fin rays and the fact that the male incubates the offspring in its mouth. It regulates the population of small animals on the bottom and serves as food for large marine predators.
