Microhyla palmipes
The fingered microhyla is a very small frog only two-three centimeters long. It lives in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia and uses wide webbing on its legs to climb leaves and swim.
The fingered microhyla differs from other microhylas with special lobes on the toes of its hind legs. It is important for nature because it eats many insects and serves as food for snakes and birds.
