The Chinese flying frog is a large arboreal frog that lives in trees in the forests of southern China. It can glide through the air for up to ten meters using wide webbing on its legs and skin folds along the sides of its body.
The Chinese flying frog differs from its relatives by its ability to glide between trees over long distances. It helps the forest by eating many insects and serves as food for snakes and birds.
