The Corsula, or Rhinomugil corsula, is a ray-finned fish from the mullet family. It lives in rivers and estuaries of South Asia and feeds on the bottom.
The Corsula differs from marine mullets in that it easily lives in fresh water far from the sea. It is important for rivers because it processes detritus and serves as food for predators.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
