The Eastern Small Flycatcher is a small bird about 12 centimeters long. It lives in the taiga forests of Siberia, catches insects in the air, and migrates to Southeast Asia for the winter.
The Eastern Small Flycatcher differs from related flycatchers by white spots at the base of the tail, which are clearly visible in flight. It is beneficial to the forest as it destroys a large number of pest insects.
