Anadia mcdiarmidi
Oreosaurus mcdiarmidi is a small lizard from the Gymnophthalmidae family. It lives in the mountain cloud forests of the Andes in Venezuela and was previously assigned to the genus Anadia.
The species differs from related lizards by its unique scale pattern and adaptations to high-altitude life. It helps maintain balance in the forest ecosystem by eating insects.
Actively searches for prey on the surface of the forest floor and seizes it with its mouth.
