Pachypanchax sakaramyi is a small freshwater fish from the killifish group. It lives only in rivers in northern Madagascar and hunts near the water surface.
This species differs from many other killifish by living in permanent rivers rather than temporary puddles. It helps maintain balance in nature by eating insect larvae.
