peters' banded croaker
Paralonchurus petersii
Peters' banded cusk-eel is a medium-sized marine fish with dark vertical stripes on the sides of its body. It lives on the bottom in coastal waters of the eastern Pacific Ocean.
Peters' striped triggerfish differs from other triggerfish with a clear pattern of several dark stripes. It is important for marine nature as a hunter of small animals and food for larger fish and marine mammals.
Searches for prey using barbels and sucks it in with its mouth.
