Geckoella collegalensis
Cyrtodactylus collegalensis
The Kollegal gecko is a small nocturnal gecko from southern India. During the day, it hides under stones or in fallen leaves, and at night it goes out to hunt insects.
This gecko differs from arboreal species by living only on the ground among rocks. It is beneficial to nature as it eats insects and serves as food for snakes and birds.
