The Adjarian lizard is a small lizard from the family of true lizards. It lives only in the mountainous regions of Adjara in southwestern Georgia.
The Adjarian lizard differs from related species by its special scale structure on the back and a limited range in the mountains of Adjara. It regulates the number of insects and serves as food for birds and snakes.
