Dunn's hog-nosed pit viper is a small venomous snake from the pit viper family. It inhabits tropical forests of southern Mexico and Guatemala.
This viper regulates the population of small animals in the forest and serves as prey for larger predators. The species occurs in a limited area and is sensitive to environmental changes.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
