Xenopus victorianus, or the Lake Victoria clawed frog, is a small fully aquatic frog. It lives in freshwater bodies of Eastern Africa, almost never comes ashore and uses sharp claws on its hind legs.
Xenopus victorianus differs from closely related species by its smaller body size and features of skull structure. It is important for nature as a predator in the water bodies of Lake Victoria and serves as food for birds and fish.
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
