Cobitis paludica
Lamprehala, or Cobitis paludica, is a small freshwater fish from the loach family. It lives on the bottom of rivers and streams in Spain and Portugal.
Lampreyella differs from close loaches with a special pattern of spots and life only in the rivers of the Iberian Peninsula. It is important for nature because it eats bottom animals and serves as food for larger fish.
