Konia eisentrauti
Coney, or Konia eisentrauti, is a predatory fish from the cichlid family. It lives only in one small lake in Cameroon and hunts other fish.
Coney differs from other cichlids by its large mouth and the method of incubating offspring in the mouth. The species is important for nature because it helps maintain the balance of fish in the lake and shows how species change in isolated bodies of water.
