Dionda diaboli
The Dionda diaboli is a small freshwater fish up to eight centimeters long. It lives only in clean spring sections of the Devils River and its tributaries in Texas.
The diabolical dionda has a limited distribution only in the basin of one river and is sensitive to changes in water quality. The species is important as part of the local ecosystem and an indicator of clean spring water bodies.
