Gehyra dubia
Gehyra dubia, or northern dtella, is a small gecko up to 15 centimeters long. It lives in northern Australia and southern New Guinea, is active at night, and climbs trees and rocks well.
Gehyra dubia differs from related species by the special structure of scales on its back and the ability to live both in forests and near human habitation. It is important for nature because it eats many insects and serves as prey for snakes and birds.
