Gehyra marginata, or Ternate gecko, is a medium-sized nocturnal gecko. It lives in the tropical forests of Indonesia, climbs trees well, and hunts insects.
Gehyra marginata differs from related species by wide sticky pads on its toes and a special pattern along the edge of its body. It helps maintain balance in nature by eating insects.

Theoretical maximum lifespan estimated from the Dynamic Energy Budget (DEB) mathematical model. This value reflects a biological potential derived from metabolic parameters, not from direct observation — real recorded lifespans are often significantly shorter.
