Kamohara's sandfish is a small marine fish up to 25 centimeters long. It lives on sandy bottoms in warm oceans and hides in the sand to ambush prey.
Kamohara's gerbil differs from other gerbils by special spotted coloration and head shape. It helps maintain balance in the marine ecosystem by eating small animals and becoming prey for large fish.
