The Nepalese wren is a small bird 9–10 centimeters long. It lives in the dense undergrowth of mountain forests in Nepal and collects insects on the ground and among leaves.
The Nepalese wren differs from related species by its even plumage without spots on the underside of the body. It helps the forest by eating harmful insects.
