Steller sea lion, or northern sea lion, is a large marine mammal from the family of eared seals. Males are much larger than females and have a thick mane on the neck.
Steller sea lion differs from other sea lions by the very large size of males and a thick mane. It is important for nature as the main predator of northern seas, helping to maintain fish stocks balance.
