Oryol White Tumbler
Calm, peaceful, flocking. High attachment to home and owner. Has a pronounced instinct for flight with somersaults (tumbler). Energetic in flight, quiet on the ground. Low aggression towards other pigeons.
Orlov White Tumbler — a small, compact, short-beaked pigeon with a spherical body shape, high-set head and virtually no visible neck. Weight 240–310 g (ideal 260–280 g), body length 220–250 mm, wingspan 480–530 mm. Head small, rounded, broad in the frontal region (length 38–42 mm). Beak very short (12–15 mm), thick, light flesh-colored or white. Iris of the eyes pure white or light silvery (pearly). Neck very short (35–42 mm), thick. Body short, broad, deep, approaching a sphere. Wings short, tightly pressed. Tail short (55–65 mm), broad, consisting of 12–14 feathers. Legs very short (tarsus 22–27 mm), red, clean-legged or with minimal feathering. Plumage dense, silky, pure white (ideal) or with a slight creamy/silvery sheen on the back and shoulders. Distinguished from the basic domestic pigeon and other tumblers by the shortest beak, snow-white iris, extremely compact “cubic” build and high head carriage. Ideal proportions: beak length to head length 1:2.8–3.0; body length to height ≈1:1; wingspan to body length ≈2.1–2.2:1. Disqualifying faults: beak >16 mm, dark/yellow iris, colored feathers, long neck, narrow body, heavily feathered legs, tail >30°.
