The bharal, or blue ram, is a wild mountain ram with gray-blue fur. It lives on the high slopes of the Himalayas and climbs steep rocks well.
The bharal differs from other rams with its bluish fur and the shape of its horns. It is important for nature as food for snow leopards and as a herbivorous animal of mountain meadows.
