The Turner's Gecko is a large lizard from the gecko family. It lives in rocky areas of southern Africa, is active at night, and climbs rocks well thanks to its special fingers.
The Turner's Gecko differs from related species in its large size and very thick fingers with powerful pads. It helps maintain balance in nature by eating insects and serving as prey for snakes and birds.
Legendary longevity: over 100 years. Galapagos tortoises, Greenland sharks, ocean quahogs celebrate with family once every 4 years

How old you would be if you lived as {name}
Theoretical maximum lifespan estimated from the Dynamic Energy Budget (DEB) mathematical model. This value reflects a biological potential derived from metabolic parameters, not from direct observation — real recorded lifespans are often significantly shorter.
