The stellion is a lizard from the agama family with a sturdy body and blue starry spots on the back. It lives in rocky and dry areas of southern Europe and the Middle East.
The stellion differs from related agamas with starry blue spots and very rough scales on the tail. It helps nature by controlling insect populations and serves as prey for snakes and birds.
During the day, it actively hunts on the surface of rocks. It catches prey with a quick head throw and tongue.
Legendary longevity: over 100 years. Galapagos tortoises, Greenland sharks, ocean quahogs celebrate with family once every 4 years
Immature form that undergoes metamorphosis before adulthood.
