Motacilla aguimp
The pied wagtail is a small bird with bright black-and-white plumage. It lives in Africa south of the Sahara and often runs along the banks of rivers and lakes, wagging its long tail.
The pied wagtail differs from other wagtails with its very contrasting black-and-white color and large white spots on the wings. It is beneficial to nature because it eats many insects and serves as food for snakes, hawks, and other predators.
