Württemberger
Calm, balanced, friendly, obedient. High working capacity, stable psyche, good trainability. Less temperamental than many other warm-blooded breeds.
Württemberger (Württemberger Warmblut) — a compact, harmoniously built warmblood horse of medium size, combining the features of the classic German half-blood and the old Württemberg working type. Height at withers 158–172 cm (ideally 162–168 cm), live weight 520–680 kg (average 580–630 kg). Format close to square (body length ≈ height at withers). More compact and “square” format, strong constitution, short strong back compared to Hanoverian, Oldenburg, Holstein and Westphalian breeds. Head dry, medium-sized, profile straight or slightly convex. Neck of medium length, muscular, with high set. Body deep, withers pronounced, croup muscular, slightly sloping. Limbs dry with strong bone. Allowed colors: black, bay (all shades), chestnut (all shades), seal brown, gray, roan; rarely dun and grullo. White markings allowed moderately. Piebald and leopard complex colors are disqualified. Coat fine, dense, shiny.
